چکیده :
محمد قاریپور استاد و مدیر برنامه معماری در دانشگاه مریلند، ایالات متحده آمریکا است.
او مدرک کارشناسی ارشد خود را در سال ۲۰۰۰ از دانشگاه تهران و مدرک دکترای خود را در رشته معماری در سال ۲۰۰۹ از موسسه فناوری جورجیا اخذ کرده است.
او سابقه تدریس در دانشگاههای مختلف، چندین برنامه آموزش معماری، داوری جوایز و سازماندهی دهها پنل و کنفرانس، و انتشار آثار متعدد در حوزههای مرتبط با معماری اسلامی و ایرانی است.
دکتر قاریپور مدیر و عضو موسس مجله بینالمللی معماری اسلامی است.
از جمله آثار او، خوشنویسی و معماری در جهان اسلام (edinburgh university press, 2013) و معماری اسلامی امروز و فردا (intellect, 2022) است.
